I originally wanted to get on the ballot as an Independent candidate. Then I got bogged down with various issues, including a suspected Chinese hacking attempt on my hosting provider. That began when I re-directed http://www.shupeforcongress.com to http://realchange.us . This event triggered a sleeping virus that began infecting an un used theme in my word press installation, then grew to a major security incident where my control was limited to conversing with tech support with better admin privileges than me. So, if true, China does not want me in Congress. Guess who deals with China? The nature of the job requires I get more write in votes than my opponents, Susan Wild and Lisa Scheller. Both of whom happen to be millionaires. To that end, I need your help. and time is short. And I’m not getting any younger.

This whole idea I first proposed at http://realchange.us/the-gist-of-it-all/ in 2012 is where this idea officially began. The idea of the voters themselves advising, proposing, and participating in a direct democracy using pre existing political boundaries. Yes, it is my intention, within the bounds of the law, to consult with the voters to both get my agenda done, as well as what the voters want as other legislative business. I would much rather see this than party influence, and look around for the results so far. Washington, in his farewell address, warned us about the perils of political parties and to place our identities to America itself, rather than political factions. Consider too, that these political factions are subject to MASSIVE amounts of misinformation, disinformation and bovine manure that Washington and our other forefathers could not possibly have foreseen. Want proof? Look at your Facebook feed with a critical eye.
For several years now, as a page and group admin I have witnessed various disinformation patterns on a complicit Facebook, Twitter, and other social media. If nothing else, perhaps the winner will take up parts of my platform? If I win, I will take it all, and them some.
To my friends who know Susan Wild, please understand I bear no ill will towards her. Susan Wild has done a whole lot of good for the most part. My beef is more with the parties than with her. And my eyes were fixated on her current job since long before we met in 2015, when I began streaming Allentown city council videos. As for Lisa Scheller, I don’t know her personally. I tried reaching out to her 2 years ago on Twitter, but she blocked me. I’m sure I’ll hear from her soon enough.
The whole reason I am doing this is because civility in political discussions has been cast aside by enemies of freedom such as China and Russia, who expend great resources on troll farms, public relations agencies, correct the record, and the like. I have also witnessed, time and again, the “Whipping Effect” in legislative bodies where serving politicians are whipped into performing with the party line, and not the will of the voters. The parties, in turn, are emboldened and motivated by more radical elements indirectly backed up by foreign entities and useful idiots. Throw in the long game of the Federalist Society, which they won when they packed the Supreme Court, and you might begin to see why I say this hate and madness MUST end if we are to survive and build anew. This, and so much more, is what is causing the left wing and the right wing to attack each other. Not remembering the left wing and the right wing are parts of the same bird. When the right wing and the left wing work together, we fly. When we don’t, we develop a massive schizophrenic complex.
It is my intention, beginning Sunday September 11th 2022 to broadcast an episode of my show each and every day.
