This site is the culmination of an idea that has been bouncing around in my head like a pinball since the moment Tricky Dick resigned in 1974. As for me, I will input more here sometime. Perhaps even now. Based out of Allentown PA, I have been involved as an advanced computer support and malware analysis, infosec specialist, (Which is why I won’t post a lot of personal details) (Yea right) Professor of Afro-American Engineering, wandering geek, computer sales and service, slightly mad scientist, wondering visionary, talk show host, ham radio operator, wearer of many hats, future TARDIS owner, a pain in the ass, a soldier of fortune, hacker, riverboat gambler, temporal engineer, and a permanent resident of the local Holiday Inn Express.
But really, I spent most of the first 20 years of my life with my grandparents in a small town called Mt. Bethel PA, roughly a mile or so southwest of Portland. I also spent a considerable amount of time in Allentown, as this is where my mom and step dad lived. Those who knew me back in those days could attest to the humbling conditions I once saw as normal. No running water, we had to fetch our water from a hand pump outside. downhill from the well was the outhouse, complete with a stack of Montgomery Ward catalogs. from there, I kinda drifted this way and that. Among other hats I have worn, I was a mechanic, caretaker, bartender, bodyguard, hacker, cook, waiter, locksmith, plumber, electrician, programmer, driver, carpenter, teacher, and wordsmith until I wound up back in Allentown which is where I am today. Until 2017, I was effectively blind from an injury I had 29 years ago. Now, re gifted with second sight, I do not like what my eyes are beholding.
When Bernie Sanders ran for President in 2016, despite being almost completely blind at the time, I organized his campaign efforts here in Allentown until his people came in, and resumed again when they left. Shortly after that election, I was involved in the recount of the 2016 election on behalf of Jill Stein. I posted about it at http://realchange.us/lehigh-county-elections-could-well-be-pwned-let-me-count-the-ways/
Nowadays, from the bottom up, I am looking for ways to invoke real change, and I think I may have an idea or two.
Welcome to my world.
Please excuse the virtual dust.
