The Facebook AI collective are decepticons Part 1

This photo collection is from a recent experiment I did with Facebook where my Facebook profile is viewed from my Facebook profile, and  the view of my content from a Facebook stranger’s point of view. There seems to be a big difference in what is shown. This silences my intentionally public facing political voice, making Facebook liable for holding back my free speech while they let the trumptards run amok? They constantly suggest content in deceptive ways like they are watching you, how you surf and loiter on the web. I find it funny when, after Facebook makes the suggestion to me, a friend or two posts it later, telling me they took Facebook’s suggested post. So, I am supposed to accept Facebook’s suggestive posts and relevant comments?  I don’t think so.

Facebook has an AI or Artificial Intelligence collective that, over the last ten years or so, has seemingly become opposed to civil political discourse all the while pushing divisive content into the eyeballs of millions of people, including me. I have been an admin of several Facebook groups, and my admin views show me things and I will continue to do so despite Facebook’s interference to free speech. Until I saw and took these pictures, I still believed that Facebook could become a proper vehicle for civil discourse in our democratic society when Facebook is blocking my own relevant posts in my groups I admin? The madman who wants to build the metaverse wants us to trust it? https://about.facebook.com/metaverse (Beware of invasive code)

No more

We are in a great cyberwar. Mostly Ukraine versus Russia, with Chinese Surveillance State looming with Tik Tok and lots of other actors. Trump and his qanon cult are an existential threat in there own right. #whyistrumpstillfree ? Even now they plot and scheme openly on Facebook live. Bots, shell scripts, and malicious software imitating millions of people at the same time. Hundreds of millions of American dollars are flowing around, both my opponents for Congress are millionaires, and here is my broke af ass looking up into the impending madness and wondering wtff?

These bot armies are made up of compromised computers, routers, IoT’s ( Internet of Things) and such acting in unison for malicious purposes including swaying public opinion, causing denial of service attacks, infecting more people, etc. They are often controlled by nation-states and those they pay for various services. And then, multiple AI have  evolved into machine learned schizophrenia. And they don’t co ordinate very well, yet. If they learn to co ordinate malicious activities, I promise bad things will happen again. And Facebook is but just one of the psy op battlefields where malicious artificial intelligence collectives battle for your attention. Don’t believe me? Listen to Mudge, also known as former head of security for Twitter https://www.washingtonpost.com/technology/2022/09/15/mudge-twitter-facebook-data-privacy/

“Upon joining Twitter, I discovered that the Company had 10 years of overdue critical security issues, and it was not making meaningful progress on them… Staying true to my ethical disclosure philosophy, I repeatedly disclosed those security failures to the highest levels of the Company. It was only after my reports went unheeded that I submitted my disclosures to government agencies and regulators.”

“Twitter’s security failures threaten national security, compromise the privacy and security of users, and at times threaten the very continued existence of the Company… despite these grave threats, Twitter leadership has refused to make the tough but necessary changes to create a secure platform. Instead, Twitter leadership has repeatedly covered up its security failures by duping regulators and lying to users and investors.”

Facebook literally controls what other people see about you. What if, I am suffering the effects of shadow banning because some anonymous troll reports my content? Using TOR (The Onion Router)? It is possible to report individual content to Facebook, unless I pay for permission to lie like Doug Mastriano? Can the Facebook collection of artificial intellegences be externally weaponized to cause division and disruption? And how well does Facebook guard against foreign and un natural influence? How can Facebook, and other social media, be trusted to show you all sides on an issue. How can Facebook become a better vehicle for democracy?

It can’t.

I just discovered that Facebook uses over 62,000,000 lines of code, not including the back end. That number was in 2018. The Linux kernel has roughly 27,000,000 line of code on GitHub. The size of the code base is too much for one human to read it all. ven Linus Torvalds, the creator of Linux, admitted he can’t keep track of the code so he created GitHub.  And to top it all off, Not all Facebook code is open source. If all Facebook code were open source, could it be interpreted as the “Democratization” of Facebook? Do we deserve any less? Can any one person actually handle this? The new Facebook occupies SO much more ram.

Please note I am posting this here, instead of Facebook. Facebook deletes whatever it wants, allowing anyone including bad actors to post through the Tor network, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Facebook_onion_address and allows insurgents to run rampant like vermin in a barn, and I no longer trust this as a permanent record of words, or by extension, political discourse.

For a much more expansive reveal, check this out. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Criticism_of_Facebook and if you are STILL not convinced of these clear and present dangers,  there are currently 375 references at the bottom of that Wikipedia article.

There is only 23 hours and 56 minutes or so to a day.

Facebook needs drastic intervention now to avert a dystopian nightmare for our descendants or I fear the worse is yet to come.

Addendum:

My secondary monitor, where the view of my profile, is rotated at 1200 x 1920. Makes for a better scrolling experience IMHO. Also I just noticed Facebook is blocking these most informative links. Like this https://www.fbi.gov/investigate/counterintelligence/the-china-threat/clearance-holders-targeted-on-social-media-nevernight-connection and this one too https://billofrightsinstitute.org/activities/washingtons-farewell-address-annotated
